The France saw and also the brittish expedition army at Dunkirk.
In northern Africa Rommels divisions made remarkable advances.
This could not be possible without outstanding weapons, skilled soldiers and maybey most importent was the new panzer tactics called Blitzkrieg invented by Colonel Heinz Guderian later Colonel General. With fast moving panzer forces the enemy was taken on its bed.
The big failure for Wehrmacht was a Corpral named Adolf Hitler who would stayed in the trenches of world war I.
With his military knowledge it could go only one way, and we all know how.
